10 Signs to Detect Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA )



Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition of the air flow in the respiratory standstill resulting in reduced supply of oxygen to the body. Besides making reduced sleep quality and lower work productivity, medical experts linking OSA with other medical complications, one of which vascular disease and heart (cardiovascular).

Indicator is only just simple test. To see if you're really suffering from OSA, you must do the inspection sleep or sleep study at the Sleep Laboratory.

There are many factors to be evaluated in the sleep study includes recordings of brain power, electrical activity of the eye, chin muscle activity, tibia is anterior muscle activity, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, air flow, and the effort to breathe from the chest muscles and abdominal muscles. Everything is done to measure the quality of sleep a person to be known with certainty whether or not suffering from OSA.

With a sleep study can also known OSA suffered still include lighter weight, or are already, so we can determine the exact type of medication.
